It was established in 1965, is an educational and scientific organization of physicians and scientists who share a common interest in this vital field. It has approximately 700 members and more than 60 Children's Hospitals, Community Hospitals and University Hospitals throughout the world. The main aim of the Society is is focus on research, education and practice as they relate to pediatric pathology, and to give a gathering to talk among its individuals. To help and advance the improvement and acknowledgment in pediatric pathology and, through the American Board of Pathology, set up and keep up a methods by which pathologists might be affirmed as having extraordinary competency in pediatric pathology. To develop and keep up fitting relationship with various social requests and get-togethers of specialists, and distinctive scientists, who offer capable interests with the Society.
