It was originated in 1991, the Society for Prevention Research (SPR) is committed to advancing scientific exploration on the etiology and avoidance of social, physical and mental health, and academic problems and which helps to promote health and well being It scientists, experts, practitioners, advocates, supervisors, administrators, and policy makers who value the conduct and distribution of avoidance science worldwide.The innovative idea of forming society that would bring together the various prevention research community was raised during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s in a series of arguments among National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) administrative staff. After meeting of NIDS Staff, decided to establish the society in 1991.The main goal of the society is to focus on Etiology, Epidermology and anticipation of drug abuse. The SPR envisions a general public in which prove based projects and strategies are continuously connected to enhance the wellbeing and prosperity of populations, cultivating positive human advancement and natives who lead profitable lives, in minding associations with others.
