Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR)

The main aim of the society is to develop and enhance  research on psychotherapy.  It also provides research grants for the studies. The main goal of the society is knowledge transfer.The Society for Psychotherapy Research is worldwide, multidisciplinary technical association dedicated to research on psychotherapy. It also encourages the growth of research on psychotherapy as well as  it aims to funding and enhance both the experimental basis and applied value of research on psychotherapy.Psychotherapy research is encouraged, for instance, by providing small research grants for trial studies which, in turn, enable researchers to later obtain larger grant funding. It also plays an important role in providing opportunities to psychotherapy researchers for interaction and dialogue.The main goal of the society is knowledge transfer. SPR plays a central role in collaborating our society’s research efforts and products, and confirms the spreading of research findings through numerous channels. SPR communicates to practicing psychotherapists in clinical practice, through the Society’s professional journal Psychotherapy Research, and also  online seminars (webinars), as well as through online forum discussion boards. The main goal of SPR is, through the research activities of her members, to enhance the experiential basis of the effective practice of psychotherapy worldwide.It also conducts annual meetings .
