Society for Range Management

It is the professional medical society and conservation organisation whose individuals are worried with reading, retaining, managing and sustaining the varied sources of the rangelands which comprise almost half of the land in the global. Established in in 1948, SRM has over 4,000 members in forty eight countries, inclusive of many growing countries. SRM's members are land managers, scientists, educators, students, manufacturers and conservationists--a numerous membership guided by using a professional code of ethics and unified via a strong land ethic. The project of the Society for range control to sell the professional development and continuing training of contributors and the general public and the stewardship of rangeland resources.
