SIAM was founded in 1952 and it is a non-profit organization to SIAM exists to build the strongest interactions between mathematics and other scientifical and technical communities through membership activities,. Now the Applied mathematics is in partnership with computational science which is essential in solving many real-world problems. Through publications, research, and community, the mission of SIAM is to build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology.
