SCBA is a non-profit organization founded in a few prominent and excited bioscientists in 1984. Presently, SCBA has ~2,500 members from various universities, conservatoires, and biotechnology industries, industrial and medical organisations. Since its start, 40 SCBA Chapters have been formed in Europe, Canada, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, US and Singapore. The best part of these activities is an annual full-day research seminar around Chinese lunar New Year, followed by a socializer dinner banquet.
