Society of french cardiology

society of french cardiology(sfc) was Created in 1937 by Charles Laubry, It now has nearly 5000 members. The french society of cardiology is a member of the european society of cardiology. The objective of this society is to develop and disseminate scientific research in the cardiovascular field, ensure continuous training of quality, specify the rules of good practice of cardiology practice in particular by publishing recommendations. society of french cardiology aims to develop and propagate by all means and in any form, study and scientific research in the fields of physiology, pathology, prevention and cardiovascular treatments. For this the sfc and its 4 subsidiaries, 12 working groups and 4 colleges meet during the year to ensure the monitoring and dissemination of their scientific work. They regularly share their findings at meetings and conferences organized by the sfc, or by groups & affiliates themselves in their fields of excellence. A sfc fellow is a cardiologist considered to be a person who has had a number of years of experience in the field and who has distinguished himself or herself individually in clinical, educational, investigational, organisational or professional aspects of Cardiology.  The purpose of sfc is to develop studies and clinical research, to conduct 4 scientific meetings every year : 3 of them in Paris one in another French city and to establish guidelines based on the evolution of the different fields in Cardiology. The french  society of cardiology (sfc) is an independent, nonprofit organisation. sfc’s members and decision-makers are busy healthcare professionals who volunteer their time and expertise. The sfc represents more than 90,000 men and women in the field of cardiology from Europe, the Mediterranean basin and far beyond.  The sfc produces, organizes and supports many scientific and educational activities and products aimed at cardiology professionals wishing to increase their knowledge and update their skills.
