Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists

The Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists was established in 1971 under the activity of Drs. Alexander R. Margulis and Richard H. Marshak, who sorted out a building up leading body of trustees made out of themselves with the co-operation of H. Joachim Burhenne, William Seman, and Walter White. Since 1974, the Society has upheld a yearly postgraduate course in gastrointestinal radiology. The course targets are to review contemporary specific and expressive information on stomach imaging including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT inspecting, alluring resonation imaging and interventional technique; and to present stream research in each part of stomach imaging.
