Society of General Practitioners of British Columbia in the mosaic of 34 Sections Doctors is a mosaic made up of 34 different specialty segments including the section of family practice. Each section collects dues, which members pay in addition to basic Doctors of BC to support their piece of work. It is the one of the 25 independent Societies constitutionally associated with Doctors of British Columbia. It takes the responsibility for setting the Section’s medical service fee schedule.
Every specialty in Doctors of British Columbia is represented by a unit. Society of General Practitioners will be like in your section of Family. It is the monetary and political voice of family doctors within Doctors of British Columbia. Doctors of this society charges fund upto 4.5% of society’s budget. The remaining 95.5% of work for all family doctors is financed by its membership payments. Society of General Practitioners represents all the Doctors of British Columbian Board, The General Practitioner Services Committee, Consultations with government through the society, Many Doctors of BC and provincial committees will be certified as per the norms.
