Society of Molecular Imaging of Thailand

The WMIS will covers whole spectrum of molecular imaging—from target discovery, chemistry, molecular and cellular biology, in vivo imaging in animal prototypes of several diseases using different imaging modalities. There will be some exciting changes in the WMIS that have been permitted. The new Society is also meant for world wide. Although this will take time to evolve, WMIS has planned partnerships with both the European Society for Molecular Imaging and the Federations of Asian Societies for Molecular Imaging (FASMI). Both European Society for Molecular Imaging and Federations of Asian Societies for Molecular Imaging will host the World Molecular Imaging Congress on a revolutionary basis. They have set strategic goals to expand World Molecular Imaging has activities in Asia. By working together with our academies in Thailand, the WMIS has facilitated in the formation of the Society for Molecular Imaging of Thailand (SMITh). Also, the World Molecular Imaging is currently involved in the organization of the first Annual Meeting of SMITh, which will be held in Bangkok on April 9–11, 2012.
