Ryoji Noyori Prize, supported by Takasago Universal Corporation, was built up in 2002 by this society, Japan (SSOCJ) in celebration of Professor Ryoji Noyori's triumphant of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and in addition the 60th commemoration of SSOCJ. The Prize, which comprises of a declaration, an emblem, and $10,000, is presented each year to a beneficiary meeting the previously mentioned criteria. The International Prize Committee chooses a beneficiary, and the beneficiary should convey a prize address at the yearly broad meeting of SSOCJ at which the Prize will be displayed.
