South African Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Biochemistry was initially acquainted with South Africa as a general subject, in January 1940. 33 years later The South African Biochemical Society was started.  On 4th April 1995, the General Meeting of the SABS consistently voted to rename the Society to the South African Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SASBMB). It is the voice of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists. It is subsidiary to the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Being an Interface between Biochemists and sub-atomic researchers from South Africa it turn out to be the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Community. It aims to promote scientific exchange between  academics and students to advance the interests of Biochemistry and Molecular biology. It collaborated with the South African Council for Natural Science Professionals, International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Government Departments. It became a correspondence channels for employment adverts, news, financing open doors and matters influencing natural chemistry and atomic science. Many National Congress were ought to be held not less much of the time and should be a Scientific Meeting at which research work might be displayed and discussed about.
