South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists

The SASOG, (South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) was established in 1946 as to shape a joining body for gynecologists. The participation drive brought about current representation by SASOG of more than 80% of gynecologists in South Africa.SASOG adjusted itself to the motto of the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology: An association for ladies' wellbeing, by gynecologists. It empowers Continuing Professional Development of all South African Obstetricians and Gynecologists globally in achieving the greater part in the particular fields. It firmly underpins support of moral practice. It works along with Gynecology Management Group on matters identified with gynecology and obstetrics in private practice. SASOG and GMG incorporated a few increments in the expenses of Gynecologists and Obstetricians in private practice and in addition the foundation of new codes which improved the income of private practice.
