The Southern Textile Association, Inc. is a nonprofit organization for individuals in the textile and related industries with a common interest in all aspects of textile manufacturing in Southern USA. The purpose of the Association as stated in its Charter to promote good fellowship among its group; to exchange professional knowledge and experience on subjects to textile manufacturing; to promote other research, educational, social, personnel relations and other scientific activities for the benefit of the group members, their companies, and the textile industry. To achieve its goals and localize activities as much as possible, the Southern Textile Association consists of two geographic divisions - the Northern Division and the Southern Division. Divisional meetings are held with programs selected to fill the division needs and interest covering technical areas, management trends, technology updates, human resources and current issues affecting the industry.
