Stansted Aviation Society(SAS) founded in 1979 was primarily a non-profit club for aviation enthusiasts having a keen interest on the London’s fastest growing airport. However, SAS has no activities in present date. For quite a long time SAS published a magazine for its members highlighting the non-based aircraft informations at Stansed, Southend and other news reports in aviation. The SAS however still brings out the magazine and allows online subscriptions to new members. The society at that point of time was one of the largest and best upcoming aviation club in London. Many of the present time pilots in the city have had their inspiration from this aviation club.
