It is one of the largest societies in United State and it is dedicated to advancing the research, development and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems to improve the nation’s surface transportation system. ITS America has more than 450 public agencies, private sector companies, and academic and research institutions. It’s member include private corporations, public agencies, academic institutions and research centers involved in the research, development and design of Intelligent Transportation Systems technologies that enhance safety, increase mobility and sustain the environment. The mission of this society is to be proactive leaders for all ITS America members and stakeholders, promoting collaboration and networking to advance policy solutions, research and development, and outreach to accelerate the deployment of intelligent transportation systems and technologies and the vision is to save lives, time and money and sustain the environment through the research and development.
