Mexican Chemical society

The Mexican Chemical Society is a national organization founded on March 16, 1956 and incorporated on August 27, 1956. Since its founding, Mexican Chemical Society (MCS) brings together professionals and students of chemical sciences; in addition to those interested in the development and strengthening of Chemistry in the country, both from industry and academia. Over time, Mexican Chemical Society has been changing and moving forward to achieve and accomplish its goals.

New professionals and young people from different races associated with the chemical sciences are added each year to the efforts made to consolidate MCS fundamental to the country's development sector. MCS have a very clear mission to seek and promote the development of the chemical sciences in the country, through the strengthening of relations between chemistry professionals and students that develop in this area; offering a space for exchange of high academic value, where research and education for the benefit of wider sectors of society is linked.

The vision of MCS is to be the leading organization in the field of professional organizations of Chemistry in Mexico, with credibility and representativeness at national and international levels; increasing its contribution to strengthening the professional and academic sector, supported by its administrative transparency, commitment to its partners and participation in forums of public interest, in addition to pursuing the development of human resources that complies .To build international representation, diversify and strengthen its funding sources MCS provide a robust, flexible and cutting edge structure that ensures its evolution and permanence in time. Almost 60 years after its founding, MCS has much work ahead, renews, and rejuvenates the efforts and dreams of the founding fathers: to make chemistry a strong science for the betterment of the country and society.
