Through these efforts NANS seeks to market and advance the best quality patient care. The organization was shaped because the american Neuromodulation Society, ANS, Incorporated in kentucky. As a separate neuromodulation society, ANS selected to affix the recently shaped International Neuromodulation Society as a chapter.
