The Safety and Reliability Society

The safety and reliability society was formed in the UK in 1980, and now has members in the UK, mainland Europe, the Middle East, USA and the Asia Pacific region. Individual Membership of the Safety and Reliability Society provides many benefits including opportunities for professional development, networking with like-minded professionals and access to knowledge about safety and reliability, as well as a route to Engineering Council Registration (CEng and IEng). The Society also offers Affiliate Organisation membership for academic institutions, industrial companies, and other organisations with interests in safety and reliability and engineering risk management. SaRS is an internationally recognised society whose purpose is to represent engineers and scientists working in the important fields of Safety and Reliability. Our objective is to enhance the professionalism and reputation of all those involved in safety and reliability technology. The aims of the society are to: Encourage the development and use of safety and reliability technology, Provide an international forum for the exchange of information on safety and reliability matters, Establish professional and educational standards for safety and reliability engineers, Establish standard techniques and encourage consistency in their application, Encourage organisations and government departments to apply safety and reliability techniques, SaRS Management.
