SOBA aims to contribute a forum for all practitioners with an interest in the care of obese patients to communicate as well as exchange information and other suitable data. As such SOBA will be provide a voice for those working with obese patients, and professional in the bariatric field, representing their views and interests. Disseminate best practice and new knowledge. Support education and practice for all anesthetists and colleagues continue to encourage the formation of research networks and provide instruction for anaesthetising obese patients.
