The Society for Organic Petrology (TSOP)

It is a non-benefit association for researchers and architects required with coal petrology, kerogen petrology, natural geochemistry and related orders. We have more than 200 individuals in 30 nations. TSOP was established in Houston, USA in 1984 to merge and encourage the authoritative exercises identified with natural petrology. The herald of The General public for Natural Petrology was the North American Coal Petrographers (NACP), a casual gathering that met infrequently to talk about shared issues. The initially meeting was hung on Walk 12, 1956, at the U.S. Agency of Mines in Pittsburgh. The association's name changed a few times, starting as Eastern American Anthracologists with later names of American Coal Petrographers and American Anthracologists, until concluding on North American Coal Petrographers in 1967. The 25th and last meeting of NACP was in Merrillville, Indiana, on November 16-18, 1983. A rundown of NACP gatherings and the association session motivation of the initially meeting were incorporated into the association.
