The Tunisian Society of Gastroenterology

The Tunisian Society of Gastroenterology Already has more than 20 years of existence. It was created in 1979 and aims to promote the Tunisian gastroenterology encouraging scientific research on specific topics in our country and organizing scientific meetings including the increasing level more is now recognized by all. The office of the STGE elected in September 2012. They were responsible for several research topics related to Mediterranean lymphoma, the hydatid cyst, and Mediterranean splenomegaly. The Tunisian Society of Gastroenterology held until 1999 over 30 scientific meetings in Tunis and within the country, as well as national conventions. On the Maghreb level, the Tunisian Society of Gastroenterology has developed the statutes of the Maghreb Gastroenterology Society that were signed in Tunisian in 1989 and whose first congress was held in Marrakech in 1991 and the 2nd congress Tunis 1996. Sur internationally, The STGE is affiliated with the World Organization of Gastroenterology (OMGE) as well as the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) with which it has friendly relations.
