The World Road Association-PIARC was recognized in 1909. It conveys composed the road managements of 121 governments and has members--individuals, companies, establishments and organizations in over 140 countries.
The Council has the eventual concern for the supremacy of PIARC. It is composed of assignments from member states, each led by a First Delegate. The Council selects the officers, the Secretary General and the associates of the Executive Committee. The Council meets once each year.
