The Society was recognized in 1947 & since the first ever President was selected there has been subsequent Presidents drawn from all parts of the Engineering professions, from a range of engineering sectors in the York locality. The Objective of the Society are to encourage the sharing of information, on a inclusive range of engineering matters, and to assist dialogue between those in engineering, and related professions.
