Mr.& Mrs. Ko Chi Ming Centre for Parkinson's Diesase Research

In Oct., 2014, Hong Kong Baptist University established a research centre for Parkinsons disease. It is located in 807 Room in the Jockey Club School of Chinese Medicine Building and was named as the "Mr. and Mrs. Ko Chi Ming Centre for Parkinsons Disease Research (CPDR) ". the aim of the research centre is to integrate clinical, basic and translational research, to advance the investigation and analysis on pathogenic factors of neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinsons Diseases (PD) and to discover the novel agents from Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. There are 3 membersadministration committee; Prof. Min Li who is the director of the research institute, Prof. Zhaoxiang Bian- chair professor of Chinese meicine and Dr. Juxian Song- research assistant professor. The advisory committee consists of 7 members and the academic committe is presided by 8 members. Mr. and Mrs. Ko Chi Ming Centre for Parkinsons Disease Research (CPDR) has collaborated with a number of professor and their lab to bring on table some of the significant researches.
