Xi’an University (Xian-U) is located in the city of Xi’an which covers an area of 50 hectares with a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. Its library boasts a collection of more than 1,220,000 books and its teaching instruments and equipment totals 70 million RMB in value. Currently it has more than 13,000 undergraduates coming from all parts of China and the University offers 37 bachelors degree programs, falling into 9 disciplines. Seven courses have been categorized as the provincial top-quality courses provided by the University. The University issues three periodicals, namely, Tangdu Journal, Journal of Xi’an University which contain Social Science Edition & Natural Science Edition respectively. Tangdu Journal has been ranked as one of the core journals by China Periodicals Phalanx Double-effect Periodicals, as well as one of the Top 100 National Social Science Journal. Each schools and department provide different graduates programmes as well as training programmes which is guided by Professor, Associate professor, Lecture with specialized in particular field of graduate programmes and training programmes. The University offers graduates programmes in science as well as language,culture,law, Literature,history,management,art etc. which give opportunity to worldwide student become closer to each other language, culture and art. The University also published research papers as well as books in different subject and also have been taken various research project in different department. The University also provide internship programmes for students for satisfactory employment. The University also offer summer programme and fellow programmes for research students. The University provide accommodation for national and international students and organize various cultural activities, sports and also student union club is there which made by students of the University. Teachers from School of Foreign Studies Offer Interpretation for Two Important Meetings: the 4th Roundtable Meeting of Cities along Silk Road Economic Belt and Friendly Cooperation Week and the 1st Xian International Symposium for History and Culture of Countries along Silk Road which is held on 20th Sep 2016 with different levels of leaders from Armenia, Bulgaria, Cambodia, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Montenegro, Morocco, Pakistan, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, and the United States participated the event. The 9th China-Korea Youth Friendly Football Match on the theme of “Spring of Pomegranate Flower” held in the University in the afternoon of 16th May 2016.The University held the first Thai Students’ Scholarship Awarding ceremony of the 1st semester of 2015-2016 school year.
