Dyspnea is defined as difficulty in breathing or shortness of breathing. Dyspnea is abnormal symptom of high exertion and it occurs mainly due to asthma cardiac ischemia interstitial lung disease heart failure and COPD. Dyspnea should be differentiated from tachypnea hyperpnoea.
