American association of cancer research

The AACR was founded in 1907 by a group of 11 physicians and scientists interested in research, "to further the investigation and spread the knowledge of cancer." Today, the AACR accelerates progress toward the prevention and cure of cancer by promoting research, education, communication, and collaboration. The mission of the American Association for Cancer Research is to stop and treatment cancer through examination, education, communication, and association. Through its databases and facilities, the AACR fosters exploration in cancer and connected biomedical science; hastens the circulation of innovative investigation detections between scientists and others dedicated to the overthrow of cancer; endorses science education and training; and advances the accepting of cancer etiology, anticipation, analysis, and action all over the world. The AACR is the authoritative source of information about advances in the causes, analysis, action and inhibition of cancer. By rushing the development and spread of new knowledge about cancer, the AACR is on the front lines of the quest for inhibition and therapy. The AACR is the oldest and biggest scientific group in the world focused on every aspect of first-class, pioneering cancer research. Its reputation for scientific breadth and excellence attract the premier researchers in the field.
