Asian Fisheries Society

The Asian Fisheries Society was set up on May second 1984, with the selection of a Constitution and decision of office bearers at a brief meeting in Los barrios, Philippines. The new Society had its starting in a meeting of a little gathering of researchers in Manila for a normal local meeting of scientists working in fisheries and aquaculture was proposed. The idea of a general public took after actually as the best intends to guarantee progression of the provincial gatherings. The destinations of the general public is to advance successful collaboration and participation among the researchers and experts required in fisheries innovative work, to make and spread a familiarity with the significance and the methods for sound usage, development, preservation and improvement, to advance the foundation of national fishers society.
