The European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) was founded in 1964 with the intention to advance and exchange of knowledge concerning the causes, natural history, treatment and prevention of atherosclerotic disease. The EAS took remarkable notice from past 50 years that expertise used to teach clinicians to manage lipid disorders and prevent atherosclerosis.
The EAS society provides access to its members and provides educational materials and opportunities to take part in meetings and courses with a forum on new developments that can be discussed. EAS has made its efforts to contribute the development of knowledge in the field ultimately to improve treatment of persons with cardiovascular disease and lipid disorders. The society aids in exchange of concerted scientific and clinical discussion of new developments in basic research, diagnosis and therapy of atherosclerosis.
EAS organizes annual meetings with approximately 2000 delegates with advanced courses for both basic scientists and clinicians. The EAS provides online e-Learning resource with a wide of educational materials, self-teaching programmes and publishes its research studies and work on its official Journal Atherosclerosis with a regular series of discussed topics.Read More»
