International Behavioral Neuroscience Society

With an aim of encouraging research and education in the field of behavioral neuroscience . International Behavioral Neuroscience Society was founded in the year of 1992 and established in City Bandera, U.S, North America Continent. Foundation of this society was initiated by Matthew J. Wayner as a president. International Behavioral Neuroscience Society  has members from 34 different countries and consists of scientists, clinicians, teachers, and others who has interest in the relationship between brain and behavior. Fellows of International Behavioral Neuroscience Society individuals who have made substantial contributions to the Society. Fellows in the Society will be invited annually to nominate IBNS members for consideration as a Fellow of the Society. Any Fellow can activate the process of nomination process for a prospective candidate by sending a nomination letter to the Nominations and Awards Committee. Then the Committee contacts the Fellow nominee to inform him/her of the nomination and to request a curriculum vita. From these materials of Fellow nominee (nomination letter and curriculum vita for each candidate) the Fellows Honorific Awards Committee will review and recommend candidates for Fellow status to Council for final approval and election. Candidate is chosen by the Nominations and Awards Committee for outstanding achievement in his/her field.  The individual chosen for this award will receive recognition at the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society Annual Meeting, including a plaque, and may be asked for short speech. Nominations should be sent to the Nominations and Awards Committee for consideration.
