Movement Disorder Society

In 1985, The Movement Disorder Society was established on the activity of Professors Stanley Fahn and C. David Marsden, whose authority and vision guided the development of clinical mastery and exploration in this field. In 2013, The Movement Disorder Society formally changed its name to The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, so as to perceive the developing significance of Parkinson's infection care and research inside the field of Movement Disorders. The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society is an expert society of clinicians, researchers, and other medicinal services experts who are keen on Parkinson's illness, related neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental issue, hyperkinetic Movement Disorders and irregularities in muscle tone and engine control.

The goal and mission of the Society:

• Encourage exploration; to give gatherings, for example, therapeutic diaries, exploratory symposia and International Congresses
• Share thoughts and to propel the related clinical and exploratory orders
• Encourage interest and cooperation in the exercises of the Society among medicinal services and associated experts and researchers
