radicals, antimicrobial and bioautography assays against Staphylococcus aureus, ATCC
29213, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, ATCC 27853, Enterococcus faecalis, ATCC 29212, Escherichia coli, ATCC 25922, Candida albicans
and A. fumigatus were carried out on the plants extracts, fractions and pure compounds. Isolation of compounds displaying biological
activity was characterized by use of spectroscopic techniques.
