The American Association for Cancer Research is world largest association related to cancer research. It is based in Philadelphia; the AACR it focuses on all other aspects of cancer research, including basic, clinical, and translational research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment of cancer. The AACR was founded in 1907 by a group of 11 physicians and scientists in research, to spread the knowledge of cancer. Nowadays, the American Association for Cancer Research is progressing towards the prevention and cure of cancer by promoting many researches, education, communication, and much collaboration.

The mission of this association is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, communication, and collaboration. Through its programs and services, the AACR researches in cancer and related biomedical science; and it accelerates the dissemination of new research findings among all the scientists and others dedicated to the field of cancer. The AACR is the largest organization in the world that focuses on every aspect of cancer research. Its reputation for scientific breadth attracts the premier researchers in that field. The programs and services of the AACR foster the exchange of ideas among scientists dedicated to cancer research, provide training opportunities for the next generation of cancer, and increase public understanding for cancer. The AACR Foundation for the Prevention and Cure of Cancer funds for the research that is holding  promise for a curing the cancer.
