Biography

Q. Quentin Li is a research scientist at the National Institutes of Health, and was an assistant professor at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, West Virginia University Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center. He was a guest (visiting) professor for six reputed universities in China. He obtained an M.D. from China and worked as dermatologist at Sun Yat-Sen University School of Medicine. He also received his M.S. in microbiology & immunology and Ph.D. in pharmacology & experimental therapeutics from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with postdoctoral training in molecular and cell biology of cancer in Medical Oncology Branch (formerly Medicine Branch) of the Center for Cancer Research at the National Cancer Institute. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research. He served as principal investigator on several grants funded by the National Institutes of Health and a pharmaceutical company. He was elected to Who’s Who in Medicine & Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science & Engineering, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in the World in 2002 and 2003. He serves on the editorial board of 25 journals and is a reviewer for 64 scientific journals and a research & development foundation. He has authored over 110 peer-reviewed research articles and reviews and presented more than 70 papers at national and international scientific conferences & meetings.
