The Urological Society of India (USI) appeared as 'Urology Section' of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) at their Yearly Meeting in Baroda in December, 1961.. The enrollment of the Urology Section, which was future on rechristened as, "The Urological Society of India" was 32, and the greater part of whom were general specialists alongside a modest bunch of prepared urologists. The Society holds its yearly meeting more often than not in the month of January by turn in the four zones. The yearly gathering is generally gone to by near 2000 representatives. Aside from experimental thoughts, there is specialized presentation for most recent gear in urology. The Society has made 4 zonal parts with spreading urology to each and every side of India.
