Substance Addiction also called as Substance dependence or drug addition is a compulsive need to use drugs in order to function normally. It is commontly misunderstood that drug addicts lack will power or moral principles but, infact drug addiction is a complex phenomenon that is hard to understand. Some substances that have the ability to cause addiction are Heroin, Cocaine, Tobacco, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines etc. Scholarly journal is a peer-reviewed journal in which scholarship relating to a particular academic discipline is published. Scholarly journals serve as forums for the introduction and presentation for scrutiny of new research, and the critique of existing research. Content typically takes the form of articles presenting original research, review articles, and book reviews.
