Physical Biochemistry

Physical Biochemistry is the study of biological system in terms of physics and physical chemistry principles and methodology. It provides the description of the structure of biological macromolecules, biological polymers at various levels and how chemical structure influences physical properties of a substance. Biophysical chemist would typically use the various techniques used in physical chemistry to study the rate of a chemical reaction, molecules interaction with radiation, calculation of structures and properties to review the biological system.
