Biochemistry also called as biological chemistry which is the study of chemical processes relating to living organisms. Much of biochemistry deals with the functions, structures and interactions of biological macromolecules which include nucleic acids, proteins, lipids and carbohydrates, which will provide structure of cells and help to perform many of the functions which are associated with life. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
