Everything in the nature is connected. An ecosystem is a community of living and non-living things that work together. Ecosystems doesnt have no particular size. An ecosystem can be as large as a desert. If you have a terrarium, that is an artificial ecosystem. The water, water temperature, plants, animals, air, light and soil all work together. If there is no enough light or water or if the soil doesn't have the nutrients, the plants will die. If the plants die, animals that depend on them will die.
An ecosystem includes all of the living things in a given area, interacting with each other, and also with their non-living environments
Usually, biotic members of an ecosystem, together with their abiotics factors depend on each other. This means the absence of one member, or one abiotic factor can affect all parties of the ecosystem.

Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record.
