Epigenetics refers to the heritable changes with respect to the gene expression that occurs without any change in the DNA sequence of an organism. DNA Methylation and Histone modifications are the two main epigenetic mechanisms. Epigenetic does not involve the change in the genome but it refers to the change in the expression patterns in the genome. Thus it has chances to result in cancerous growth. A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity.
