Bacteria are microscopic organisms which have spread in the environment and are the inhabitants of soil, water as well as human bodies. Bacteriology is the study of bacteria. This subdivision of microbiology involves the identification, classification, and characterization of bacterial species. MThey are the single celled organisms causing many harmful and lethal diseases both to animals and humans. The study of bacterial structure, shape and physiology is called as bacteriology. Most of the bacteria appear in different shapes such as oval, coccal, spiral etc. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
