Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder cause by multiple aetiology. This condition is characterized by hyperglycaemia, a condition that is raised due to do the defect in carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism which may be due to defect in insulin production or action of insulin or inability to use the insulin that is reduced or all the above mentioned reasons. Diabetic foot is a common complication in most of the diabetic patient and it has been reported that the number of cases hospitalized due to diabetic foot complication is high compared to that of the incidence due to the other diabetic complications. Open access journals are those that are freely available to the readers without any restriction. In open access publication, the content is made available to the readers with an internet connection, a worldwide public network system. This mode of publishing has been supported by the authors as the invisibility of their work is increased. Open access journals are a boon to the scientific community. Diabetic foot open access journals are those that gives a literature view about the different cases that was reported along with the therapeutic and prevention methods for the pathological condition.
