Fish Bioenergetics

It is an energetic based approach focuses on the processes that regulate growth of a fish as per the modeling approach, extension of energetic principles used in ecosystem scale models of trophic interactions. Fish Bioenergetics includes temporal and spatial scales from evolutionary time to cellular metabolism, ranging from growth and nutrition in the controlled water system of prey and predator forms in the ecological context. Hierarchy of energy allocation is an important concept of modeling approach for fish bioenergetics. This type of hierarchy is similar to practical economics. Consumed energy is primarily allocated to catabolic processes, secondary to waste losses and left over to somatic storage.
