Gestational Diabetes Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review. The word gestation means pregnancy from where the term gestational diabetes has arisen. This is one of the types of diabetes that is found to occur in the case of pregnancy. By causing high blood sugar level, this can affect the mother as well as her baby. However gestational diabetes is curable and with the maintenance of proper diet, healthy life style and right medication this can be stopped to precede any ahead. Feeling thirstier, passing excess of urine, tiredness, dry mouth, blurred vision are few of the symptoms. Since this type tends to affect two lives simultaneously, the diabetic mother should take a good care of her to prevent it in all possible ways. Controlling the increased BMI is also suggested in these cases. According to few studies, Type 2 diabetes is often likely to occur after gestational diabetes. Keeping a simple control over the day to day activity can keep away diabetes.
