Multiple Sclerosis is a highly complicated autoimmune inflammatory disorder that lacks a complete cure rather than disease modifying therapies. Journal of Multiple Sclerosis is an an upcoming journal dealing with multiple sclerosis and related research. We give foremost priority to multiple sclerosis and therapeutics as a topic of high relevance and advancements. In our editorial for inaugural issue Dr. Motamedi says ââ¬ÅTreatments under investigation for multiple sclerosis seek to improve function, curtail attacks, or limit the progression of the underlying disease. Many treatments already in clinical trials involve drugs that are used in other diseases or medications that have not been designed specifically for multiple sclerosis. Many basic investigations seeking to understand the disease to find new treatments are underway. However, these treatments and trials for drug development need research and research needs money. Money for research can be funded by the government, NGOs, grants or donations.
