When an object breaks into two parts or pieces or gets separated in two different parts due to stress then that is the situation which we call a fracture. There are two common types of fracture; they are brittle fracture and ductile fracture. It can be a bone fracture, ligament fracture, etc. It can be diagnosed by x ray or other imaging techniques.
