Nuclear medicine is a branch of medicine that deals with the use of radiation to diagnose and treat a disease. It is safe, non-invasive and less expensive and often used to detect disease before symptoms appear. It is performed by a medical specialist called radiologist. Currently, nuclear radiation is used to treat many types of cancers with minimum side effects like Allergic reactions, pain and redness etc.
