It is an ear related problem where sounds are heard without any external source. It may be mainly due to hear damage, ear waxing or ageing. It is not a disease and different sounds like humming, buzzing, hissing, whistling etc are heard. Right now no treatment has been effective. Rain or ocean sounds make us relaxing and refreshing. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
