Artificial membrane is also called as Synthetic membrane used in separation procedures of lab and industry. Artificial membranes are composed of organic, inorganic, polymers and liquids. The well-known synthetic membrane processes are water, reverse osmosis, dehydrogenation, microfiltration and ultrafiltration.
